September 2013 Update 1

Hello all!!  It is that time again.  I am leaving for Uganda tonight with Hayden Harker, a high school student from Pleasanton.  Let me take a moment to introduce myself to those who don’t know me.  My name is Kindri.  I have been working in Uganda for 4 years running camps for junior high aged kids.  Hayden and I will be running a week of camp for about 45 kids, half from a school in a village called Wairaka and the other half from a church in Njeru.  I am super excited to have Hayden come and join me in this adventure of serving the youth of Uganda.

I will be sending out updates about every other day or so depending on how tired I am. 🙂 If you do not want to receive them please just respond to this email.

Thank you for supporting us financially and in prayer.  I pray that our great God would bless you as you bless the kids of Uganda.

Please pray for safety and rest as we travel.  We will arrive in Uganda saturday afternoon.  Please also pray for the kids that will be coming to camp, that their hearts would be softened and the Holy Spirit would open their eyes and ears to the Gospel.
